History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Her father had invested heavily in several trade routes and wanted her to inherit them. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Griselda fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: In the realm of puns, he cannot help himself. He feels obliged to make them. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: The child of northern immigrants he idolized his mother. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of his sister; and to reunite with his absent mother

History: When he was but 3 years old his parents immigrated from the north. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the north.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He spends most of his days drinking in the Inn, the rowdiest and most dangerous establishment in town. There he gambles, wrestles and listens to stories told by travelers.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He now travels the world, in search of power and loot.

Motivation: A need for knowledge about a nearby landmark; and obtaining odd cultural human artifacts is his passion
