History: Arnold hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Like his father and his brother before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Layabout. He struck the Layabout job and began his own company from there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and revenge

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She also is a firm believer in the womanly ideal.

History: Agatha lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Her spouse left her for another, whom she beat to an almost bloody pulp. She did not win them back, but she came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. She has been saving her money to try and buy her sister's freedom.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Butcher. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He keeps company with all sorts of races to see how they think and challenge minds foreign to his own.

History: A child with a great deal of poetry talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. A few years later when the east was not economically sound they moved to his current location. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Butcher for hire.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He wears a green costume with the symbols of the four houses of cards on his torso. He has dyed his greying brown hair a little too much giving a sharp brown color. His fierce blue eyes like to dwell on things.

Personality: He is quiet and reserved most of the time, but warms up to people very quickly. Around friends he is liable to tell dirty jokes and enjoy himself. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: The child of western immigrants he idolized his father. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: To clean up the streets; and marry his sister to traveling adventurers
