History: She grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. After a long history of fighting, Jacoba and her spouse have recently divorced.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Adam grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Adam. He has never given up on his dancing dream.

History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. A serious injury left his mother unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm mother. He hasn't been sleeping well lately.

Motivation: He made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it; and to get a good night's sleep
