History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Since her mother passed away years ago, her father had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by her attractiveness, a trait in which she easily excels the other women of her town. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Dyer for the past few years.

Personality: He has schizophrenia that causes him to hear things that aren't there and will sometimes respond to them. He loves teas. He is very sensitive about his face. To blow off anger he lifts weights and to control his otherwise explosive temper he works out a lot.

History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. In his 17th year, his parents were killed by a drow raid, leaving Alex alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.
