History: Giselle was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Her childhood dream was to be a Masseuse, but she was a colossal failure. Lacking all sense, she decided to go on an adventure. She picked a direction and started trekking.

History: Heir to a fortune, her parents put a great deal of effort into curing her disease. She struck it rich when she found rare goods in large quantities. She has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to gnolls demanding more tribute than usual.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Agnes was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared. She has had some formal poetry training, and achieved minor success. She routinely visits covens of witches but complains that many are fraudulent and lack true knowledge of magic.

History: A studious child he never was much for a social life, not because he was unlikable, but because he did not seek it out. He worked as a nervous Guard and found it very stressful. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.
