She made her way to the other competitor and parlayed her knowledge into a job. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Retire the richest woman in the south; and she made a deal with a demon which lead to her current lot in life, and she's becoming increasingly nervous about it
