History: Helen was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. Brilliant and gifted she never wanted to apply herself. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Butcher. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Personality: Abrasive and pushy, she has a hard time making friends. Matilda enjoys physical pleasures, and is well known for her love of warm baths in the hot springs near the town.

History: The child of a Barrister, who enjoyed hunting, Matilda was taken on many hunting expeditions. Through the years after Matilda was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Matilda's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Personality: She is intelligent and cunning, but she will too often allow her rage to get the better of her. She will lose her cool and rely on brute force to carry the day. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born in a small island village. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her arcane talents. She has since lost track of the people in her past.
