History: From birth he was tutored by a cruel and relentless mentor. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He guards a vault combo very seriously as well as the key needed to open it.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and he is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get him out

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Being born in the west, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the west for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way north. She's also a talented Sailor, but doesn't like to broadcast it.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and her relatives are trying to arrange a marriage

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is skeptical of what others tell her and is slow to trust.

History: Sarah was raised in a hard working conservative environment. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. She struck the Fortune-teller job and began her own company from there.

Motivation: Wants to open a new tavern; and sabotage a competitor
