Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He is a ruthless business man, a trait he acquired from his father.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Adelard liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

History: A child with a great deal of painting talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He eventually got the idea of being the protector of his homeland from reading books, and has made it his duty.
