Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Frederick fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Jane lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She has became unsatisfied with her lot in life, and decided to take up adventuring.

History: Geva was raised in a hard working conservative environment. She made a point of taking high paying jobs and getting most of it up front. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by dire rats. Geva was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the dire rats.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and meet up once more with her childhood friend
