Personality: He barks his statements quickly and with little fuss. He prefers small words and is at his heart utilitarian. He refers to his adoptive father for almost all things he is unsure about, which are numerous. He is very much still a child and has not developed a drive for self-dependency.

History: Born in the north his family was never financially stable. When he was little, his rather wealthy family often ventured across the plains to a summer home near a ruined castle. He would wander through that ruined castle and adventure through it for days. One day while adventuring a terrible storm took place and he was stranded inside. His family spent the next few days looking for him, and could only assume he was dead when it came time to leave. The family never returned to the plains due to the painful memories there. Roland took refuge in the ruined castle and found the beat up axe and armor he uses now. By chance he met his brother recently and the two have been together since.

Description: A man of a pale complexion, he wears a simple burlap shirt and baggy pants. He conceals his crossbow with his veritable burlap sack of a shirt. His chestnut hair is long and unkept. He is missing an eye and his face is severely sunburned. His one remaining eye shines blue.

Personality: Soft-spoken and well mannered, he has an amazing amount of patience and a slow boiling temper. He is obsessed with his god.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. Norman was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Norman decided he wanted neither the life of his mother nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. As of late he has set up a hidden staging nest where he ambushes people he hires for escort.

Motivation: He has decided he is irredeemable; and he has a rivalry with the church that dominates his actions

Description: Runty and weak-looking, she is renowned for her bright violet dresses and hats. Her white hair is greasy and uncared for. Her eyes are likewise violet.

Personality: She considers herself the perfect lady. She makes a point to always show proper etiquette and frequently critiques the etiquette of others. She is ready at a moment's notice to give into her darker urges. She is a real pyromaniac and does not care who the fire hurts. She often ends up burning people alive in the fires she starts.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. Her parents died when she was young, and she was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Herleva grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Herleva. She has recently gotten a pet goose that steals things from people.

Motivation: She is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions; and she has comitted a past crime that haunts her to this day

History: Hugh hails from a village terrorized by brigands. Since his mother passed away years ago, his father had doted on him, and he came to think her himself as special and better than other people in town. A notion that was reinforced by his attractiveness, a trait in which he easily excels the other men of his town. He now spends his time doing works of charity.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by brigands, and he desires to right it; and revenge
