History: When she was but 6 years old her parents immigrated from the west. Through the years after Adelaide was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Adelaide's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Performer. He then took over the family business and is one of the better Performer for hire.

Motivation: A rival would like him out of the picture; and he is unsatisfied with his job
