Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic man, Roger's first love is himself. His second love is also himself. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Being born in the south, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the south for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way north. When his spouse passed he lost his only source of income but claims to his daughters to still be retired.

She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Through the years after Adelard was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the south. Adelard's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He left for the south, certain he would find work there.
