History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when giants swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Body Guard. He has achieved small success as a Body Guard.

Description: A middle-aged man, he is wearing a tight brown one piece outfit complete with pants, hood, and a cape, and is pretty ugly. He wears his blonde hair down. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He is filled with cunning. He likes to feign weakness letting people think he is weak. He is however greedy and will demand payment and proof of collateral's value and will produce a merchant's scale to make sure he is not cheated out of a speck.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. He has had some formal writing training, and achieved minor success. He now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west.

Description: He stands about 5'9" and wears a weathered and beat up set of banded mail beneath an oversized grey coat. His right leg appears badly burned and disfigured. His white hair is still thick. He has a tattooed face.

Personality: He cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with his opinion, he thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, he can get violently argumentative. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: Born to a Ploughman, his mother struggled to pay the bills. He was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. He never won. Recently a tribe of brigands attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Gerald fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: He is a bit of a kleptomaniac.

Description: This tall, slender man wears well tailored suits and hats with beautiful decoration. He is almost always dressed for an outing in high society. His chestnut hair is greying along the sides and has receded to reveal a widow's peak. His face is scarred and worn.

Personality: He has a good heart but also a terrible temper. He will forgive often but not before yelling and berating someone for whatever they have done wrong. Flattery will make him almost putty in your hands.

History: He was raised in a forest tribe. His parents divorced when he was young, and his father gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. He bought a kukri and has really upped his game hunting, due to his understanding of decoy and ambush.

Motivation: He is greedy.
