History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Reynard was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has never given up on his poetry dream.

Personality: A grumpy gal she will invite people to lunch so she can critique them. Yet she still seems generally likeable, like a lovable grump. She works hard and plays hard.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the south. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her mother gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her mother, who blamed her for driving them apart. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: She's repulsed by the PC.

Personality: He runs his personal life as if detached from it. He organizes appointments and outings based on perceived benefits he will get from it. He is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Anselm hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. A freak accident while working with his Spice Merchant mother left him crippled. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: A deep hatred of dire rats; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: She acts crazy and hedonistic. She loves being with her children and actually smiles when they are around. She would do anything for them. She dislikes her ex a great deal.

History: Sybil lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Sybil was born on a far southern desert where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Carter. She left for the south, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: Find a way to reverse the transformation of her brother; and to reunite with her absent father
