Personality: He is quiet and anti-social and can barely make it a few minutes in conversation before his hampering stammer kicks in. Bertram is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Butcher work with an outfit from a few towns over. Butcher work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now mingles about in high society.

History: Born in the north to a Baker, Rolf learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Baker.

Personality: Eccentric and domineering, Wymar will drive conversation. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of orcs may trigger it at times.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the west. Because his father participated in the massacre of their homeland, orcs burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. He was preparing to flee to the north, but the outbreak of war prevented him and his mother from journeying north to reunite his family. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and wants to open a new tavern
