Personality: He is enamored with his job. He loves it. He likes the challenge and he likes helping those less fortunate than him. Charles is a bit of a follower. Usually he is manipulated by his brothers into helping them out, but recently he has become more of a free agent.
History: He got into the Scribe business at a young age. He has chosen to use the inheritance that was left to him frivolously. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Personality: He is very quiet and rarely speaks above a whisper. Only to laugh say gotcha and shoot double pistol fingers at the fooled target.
History: He is a Jackalwere in disguise. His spouse left him for another, whom he beat to an almost bloody pulp. He did not win them back, but he came to a realization. To get what you want from life, you must take it. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
Motivation: Meet up once more with his childhood friend.

He is constantly adorned with expensive silk clothing, often dyed in bright green and violet, and wears rings and necklaces with large, colorful gems, and his gloved hand is found clutching a axe. His hair is silver, silky, and of moderate length. His brown eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.
Personality: He considers himself the protector of his home. He feels this is his duty and calling. He is lazy and tries to find solutions quickly.
History: He was born on a small isolated farm. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.
Motivation: To protect his home.

Her white hair is matted, messy, and big. Judging by the bloodshot nature of her eyes and the massive bags underneath them one would imagine she has not slept for days.
Personality: She is highly sensitive about her name. She loathes it, but will not take any guff about it from anyone. Despite her manner, she is extremely passionate and proud of her job, and she prides herself in being thorough and never missing a detail.
History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She struck the Engraver job and began her own company from there.
