History: Sarah hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. She was an apprentice working in her father's forge. She ran away from her former home and has been making her living as a Hunter for the past few years.

History: He grew up in a lower middle class home, but living comfortably wasn't enough. His parents were killed by illithids in a raid when he was still a young child. The illithids captured him, and made him a slave and general play-thing. He was beaten and tortured regularly, leading to his deformed appearance. Unlike his family, who was content to work in a sleepy main town, he wanted to work in the city. He has been working here for the past few years.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
