The mother sought out extralegal help and others began closing their doors. She saw this and took pride in her mother's willingness to do anything to win. She became a Apothecary soon after.

After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She came across an abandoned tomb where she found a relic that called out to her. After picking it up she was cursed by lycanthropy.
