History: He was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for him. It may also be what makes him so good at details. His parents died when he was young, and he was unceremoniously dumped in the city orphanage. Bernard grew up in the orphanage, tormented by the older kids and famished from lack of food. To avoid death by starvation, most orphans take to a life of crime or prostitution (often both), and so did Bernard. Being a Bellfounder kept his interest for a while, but then he became depressed and bored. So he turned to a secret life of crime, taking increasingly more risks and challenges.

History: Born in a small village he learned the ways of the warrior from his father. His father took him hunting and taught him how to get in the mind of other creatures. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Diggory fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Alice was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. From her teen years she was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on her. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He was an apprentice working in his father's forge. He left for the east, certain he would find work there.
