History: She is the product a well kept family trust fund and as such has never really known need. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way west. Some 7 years later her spouse died after the birth of her son. Heartbroken, Sarah never married again. His hair is long and auburn with streaks of golden, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is golden, braided, and well cared for. He wears a mask on his face.

Personality: He is a Ploughman first and foremost. He believes firmly that knowledge should be universal. He moves from fascination to fascination almost instantaneously. If something can keep his interest for a month it is impressive.

History: Kody lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Kody was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the north. Kody's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
