History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was supposedly a charlatan fortune teller, but he insists his mother was legitimate. He hopes to save up enough money to one day pay a cleric to cure him.

Motivation: He has a rivalry with the Church that dominates his actions; and he is compelled to act according to his religious beliefs

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. Through the years after William was born, his father became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. William's father didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. After a long history of fighting, William and his spouse have recently divorced.
