History: His parents moved while he was still in utero so he is the first generation to be born here. Simon was a troubled youth. He spent his days as a hard laborer instead of attending school, and spent his evenings with numerous mobsters and gang members. Simon decided he wanted neither the life of his father nor that of the evil petty criminals he associated with. During his early adolescence, he took a sudden opportunity while working the docks and commandeered a vessel that was left unmanned. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Blacksmith for the past few years.

Personality: He hates goblins. He views them as having robbed his home of its proper glory. He enjoys reading and quiet.

History: Frederick was born in the east. At a young age he loved to build and create. His father was a soldier and died while he was still young. Frederick was left his father's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to goblins demanding more tribute than usual.

Motivation: He wants revenge against goblins; and a deep hatred of goblins

Personality: She believes mankind has become decadent and spoiled by the march of civilization and an end should come to life as we know it. She is terrible with names forgetting people's names several times before they finally stick; this causes her no end of embarrassment.

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was a friend to animals and a trickster. In her defense of animals however she would do severe harm to people. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: To get a good night's sleep.

Personality: She is filled with cunning. She likes to feign weakness letting people think she is weak. She works hard and plays hard.

History: A powerful necromancer made her what she is. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Stableman. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.

Motivation: Wants a kiss.
