Because her mother participated in the massacre of their homeland, gnolls burned their ranch to the ground and forced them out. Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by gnolls. Katherine was horrified and prayed that her father was alright. However, she heard that her father had died fighting off the gnolls.

History: She was born on a small isolated farm. Her parents enrolled her in a Paladin school at a young age so that she could practice her psionic talents. She has dedicated herself to building a better kind of golem.

Personality: He tends to agree with only himself unless someone else's opinion sounds like he can profit from it. He tries to control his temper but he can't always stop himself from what he feels what must be done. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Adelard hails from a village terrorized by dire rats. His parents divorced when he was young, and his mother gained full cudstody. He was regularly beaten by his mother, who blamed him for driving them apart. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: His name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it; and a deep hatred of dire rats

Personality: He likes to fabricate stories about his past exploits and how crazy he is, but in actuality he is rather bland. He is underhanded and not above using his wealth and body to get others to do his bidding.

History: He was born into a rich family. He was a friend to animals and a trickster. In his defense of animals however he would do severe harm to people. He leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever he goes.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and sabotage a competitor
