After coming to the age of reason, Adam took it upon himself to study the martial arts in their entirety; because of this, he was labeled a dark omen and banished from his homeland. He left for the west, certain he would find work there.

Motivation: He's repulsed by the PC; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by dire rats, and he desires to right it

Personality: While she acts the brute, she is far gentler than she would appear. She uses her nature as a weapon; she likes to lead opponents to think her in distress.

History: Sold as a small child to a necromancer, Hugolina was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. She eventually earned her freedom when her former master disappeared.
