History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. When she came of age, she joined a caravan that would eventually take her to the capital. She would practice along the way and, when she arrived, be apprenticed to a Layabout. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. He pushes his goals aggressively. He is also a coward if confronted.

History: He got into the Stableman business at a young age. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

Motivation: Further expansion of business; and he desires power and/or immortality

Personality: He misses his glory days as an athlete. He does not mind his job, but it is boring in comparison. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: Conrad hails from a village terrorized by illithids. He was taken as a slave by a traveling circus and forced to perform He is searching for what he claims is his rightful reward.
