Description: 5'7" and lanky with angular features, she is an attractive figure. She wears a faded coat and loose pants complete with top hat. She wears a top hat to cover her moderate length chestnut hair. Her face is full, her cheeks are rosy, and she always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in her brown eyes.

Personality: Overbrimming with self-confidence, Sarah isn't afraid of most anything. She has a strong dislike to people who do not believe in Human unity. She is accommodating to her spouse and as such limits her hospitality. She is brave and levelheaded in the face of danger and has proven herself a capable leader.

History: She comes from a rich eastern family. Through the years after Sarah was born, her mother became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Sarah's mother didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She leaves a trail of broken hearts and full pockets wherever she goes.

Description: This western man's face is deformed and paralyzed on one side. As such, he slurs his words together. He wears tight fitting pants and leather jackets. He usually doesn't wear a shirt. His hair is chestnut and curly. His brown eyes dart from person to person.

Personality: Quiet and reserved he prefers to listen than to talk. He will nod occasionally and communicate nonverbally. The war was a terrible time for him, and Norman does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Map Maker they were divorced and he won custody of their daughter. He worked as a Dyer, and he later adopted a second daughter.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and doesn't want to be a dyer and was forced into it by his family

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: He was born in the north, but his parents moved at a very young age to the east. Being born in the north, he completed his medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. He returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. He was a general practitioner in the north for years, until he, through no fault of his own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal he made his way east. He has been saving his money to try and buy his sister's freedom.

Motivation: Doesn't want to be a Bookbinder and was forced into it by his family; and to reunite with his absent mother
