History: His father raised him in a mountain cabin. In his 16th year, his parents were killed by a brigands raid, leaving Thomas alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, he was adopted. He has set out to sabotage the competition.

History: Born in the north to a Weaver, Aline learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Aline has worked very hard to control her curse. She inherited the family business which she has now maintained for 11 years.
