Personality: He is unhospitable to his core. His small house has "No trespassing" Signs all over it. He is frequently practicing swordplay.

History: He was born to a pair of big game hunters, but was frequently ill as a child. His mother was a soldier and died while he was still young. Gerald was left his mother's suit of armor and trained in its use and care. After a long history of fighting, Gerald and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and he feels that his past leaves him morally obligated to help

History: She was born to a wealthy landowner in a frontier town, living a normal and happy childhood. Being born in the north, she completed her medical training abroad so as to avoid the war. She returned after the war having achieved medical proficiency. She was a general practitioner in the north for years, until she, through no fault of her own, lost a patient who had a very powerful family. Rather than risk reprisal she made her way east. By chance she met her sister recently and the two have been together since.

Motivation: She wants to meet her childhood hero; and a deep hatred of orcs

Description: A well shaped man just over fifty, he wears a large hat to cast shadows over his face and wears ponchos to better hide his body. He keeps his long golden hair kept up in a rat tail. His face is full, his cheeks are rosy, and he always seems to sport a perfect smile and a twinkle in his blue eyes.

Personality: He is a melancholic, but persistent worker. He resents family life and as such spurns the advances of admirers. He has a small toy that he constantly fidgets with.

History: A powerful necromancer made him what he is. He couldn't stand his childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with his mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He's since become an addict/alcoholic.

Motivation: He loathes his own lifestyle; and he feels kind of lost in life
