Motivation: A strong sense of loyalty to Human people; and he made a deal with a demon which lead to his current lot in life, and he's becoming increasingly nervous about it

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. Cursed with a spirit at a very young age, Avelina has worked very hard to control her curse. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.
