History: She was born several months after her mother was called into army service. When Melissa reached her early adolescence her Human mother passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, she decided to travel. Her rounds led her into the Army with a few individuals who would become her life-long companions. She has never given up on her writing dream.

Personality: She resents people who mock her appearance or her, so she has learned to be the meanest son of a gun. She is always in debt, since she spends her money on lavish parties and gifts for friends

History: Herleva was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. A gypsy cursed her at a young age, leading to her ugly appearance. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

Personality: He will rave to anyone who will listen. As he has aged he has sought to do reparations for his actions as a youth. He is also making sure that his compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. At a young age both his parents were killed in an accident. His uncle (a powerful person with enemies on both sides of the law) took him in and had him trained in basic self defense. He would ruin relationships and cause injury. He was reprimanded several times before being given his current form and forced to learn humility.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. At a young age he wooed the heart of his future spouse and the two had a long relationship before they wed. Some 3 years later his spouse died after the birth of his son. Heartbroken, Hunter never married again. Instead he focused his life to raising his son whom he trained as his mother had trained him before.
