He was regularly beaten by his father, who blamed him for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Charles and his spouse have recently divorced.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She worked as a nervous Knight and found it very stressful. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
