History: Born in the south to a Sellsword, Miles learned a great deal about his mother's area of expertise. Like his mother and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Sellsword. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Miles fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

History: Born in the north her family was never financially stable. Her parents divorced when she was young, and her father gained full cudstody. She was regularly beaten by her father, who blamed her for driving them apart. After a long history of fighting, Oriel and her spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Wishes to resurrect an old love.

He found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. He modeled his life after the story, seeing himself destined a hero. He became a Ruler soon after.
