History: Elysande was born into a poor family. Growing up, she dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to her family’s name. When she came of age, she applied for a position with her town's local guard, looking to work her way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She is searching for what she claims is her rightful reward.

History: She was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of her parents. She helped her mother out around the business and became quite the natural. She now has a substantial network of resources ranging from contacts to ships to peers.

Motivation: Several ex partners dislike her way of doing things and want revenge; and someone believes her a fraud
