Personality: He is soft-spoken, optimistic and speaks nonstop, as he rather likes the sound of his voice. His demeanor is somewhat feminine. He is able to fit into much smaller and tighter spaces than normal.

History: He was always a brilliant, if unscrupulous mind. Brilliant and gifted he never wanted to apply himself. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: He is not mentally stable, and does not behave rationally; and a rival would like him out of the picture

Personality: She is happy with her job as a Unemployed. She turns her eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. She loves her children and doesn't want them to worry about her. She loves to share her painting with anyone who is interested.

History: She got into the Unemployed business at a young age. Her mother worked until she suffered an accident while they were digging through a hill for a new route. She had to support her now crippled mother and took her mother's old job. Due to her spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and she won custody of their son. She worked as a Unemployed, and she later adopted a second son.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He passes on several rewards to people in need. He makes a point to leave places better than he found them.

History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. Like his father and his sister before him, after school he went straight into learning to become a Ploughman. He has set out to sabotage the competition.
