History: Roger was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was part of a huge silver rush, which was taken over by a mining company. The company confiscated a lot of silver, but the shipment was lost. He spent several years traveling with his friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his mother always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. He worked as a nervous Doctor and found it very stressful. He has built up a small fortune and can afford his own way.

History: When she was but 5 years old her parents immigrated from the east. Eva was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Sellsword. She is untrained/undisciplined, which makes her dangerous.

Motivation: She is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out; and to clean up the streets

History: Charles hails from a village terrorized by giants. He took after his father in leading caravans. Because they were valued, his father taught him to defend himself. When his father died while fighting giants, the young Charles began to lead the lost caravan. He has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Retire the richest man in the west; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by giants, and he desires to right it
