History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the east. She couldn't stand her childhood mentor and eventually formed a pact with her mentor's previously failed apprentice to rebel. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. When she grew older, she became a bit more civilized, usually hanging around bars and taverns. She began work as a mercenary for hire. She would embark on any mission as long as the price was right.

History: Her psionic talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, her parents had her trained. She found a children's book about a Human Paladin who fought for good and justice and never realised it was just a child's story. She modeled her life after the story, seeing herself destined a hero. She spent several years traveling with her friend, before both settled down to enjoy the fruits of their adventures.

History: He was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. His father was very strict, and drilled into him lessons on being the perfect gentleman. Days after completing his studies, news broke out that his hometown was attacked by gnolls. Bertram was horrified and prayed that his mother was alright. However, he heard that his mother had died fighting off the gnolls.

Motivation: He doesn't get along with people that don't share his tastes; and several ex partners dislike his way of doing things and want revenge

History: Gerard lived on a farm with his father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. A serious injury left his father unemployed and in need of constant care. His family became saddled with debt trying to care for his infirm father. By chance he met his sister recently and the two have been together since.
