History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Scribe. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Scribe for the past few years.

History: Born to a poor family in the city he treasured whatever gifts he got. His mother disappeared, and while he tried to raise money to find his mother, he was betrayed dozens of times. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: Marry his sister to traveling adventurers.

Personality: He is mildly Human supremacist, though he does not identify as such. He loves being with his children and actually smiles when they are around. He would do anything for them. He dislikes his ex a great deal.

History: He was a bastard born out of an affair, and his father always resented and mistreated him for it out of spite. His first spouse was a Locksmith, they had one daughter, but his spouse won total custody. Without his spouse to temper him he grew out of control. He became a Map Maker soon after.

Motivation: To reunite with his absent father; and he'd like to take his coworkers down a peg
