History: Heir to a fortune, his parents put a great deal of effort into curing his disease. Through the years after Clerebold was born, his mother became increasingly distant from his family, instead choosing to pursue power in the east. Clerebold's mother didn't care for him much, and the feeling was mutual. He knows his nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but him.

History: Born to a Mason, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Layabout hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He has drifted from career to career and currently works as a Layabout.

Motivation: He wants nothing more than to rejoin the army.

As she has aged she has sought to do reparations for her actions as a youth. She is also making sure that her compatriots who never received punishment for their crimes are brought to justice.

History: Anne was born with her mother's beautiful face. She was taken from her home at a very young age. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.

Motivation: A rival would like her out of the picture; and she is being blackmailed/forced/etc and this influences her actions
