History: Born to a Carter, his mother struggled to pay the bills. When money was particularly tight he was walking through alleys when he overheard a Masseuse hiring some criminals to sabotage a competitor. He made his way to the other competitor and parlayed his knowledge into a job. He moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

History: She was a bastard born out of an affair, and her mother always resented and mistreated her for it out of spite. In her 15th year, her parents were killed by a dire rats raid, leaving Ermina alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching her a humbling lesson in trusting others.
