Description: He is scrawny and has patchy chestnut stubble. He is well dressed, constantly wearing a brown suit, blue shirt, and brown tie. He has a hunchback. His hair is long and chestnut with streaks of red, and is pulled back with small brown clips. His beard is red, braided, and well cared for. His blue eyes dart from person to person to random spaces in the air.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Justin embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. He cannot deal with unfamiliar people for more than a few minutes at a time and if they persist he will grow angry at them.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His parents enrolled him in a Paladin school at a young age so that he could practice his necromantic talents. He has taken up leadership of the village's small militia in response to illithids demanding more tribute than usual.

Description: She usually wears her blue robe and has her mace always slung over her shoulder. Her skin is fair and her fingers are delicate and long. Her long golden hair is drawn into a two foot long braid. Her eyes are likewise amber. Her teeth are white and perfect.

Personality: Stoic and calm, she prefers to meditate than take action. The war was a terrible time for her, and Ahlyssa does not often speak of it. When she does, she does so with a strained expression and tears in her eyes.

History: The child of western immigrants she idolized her mother. Ahlyssa was born on a far western island where she grew up under the tutelage of her mother, an expert Bricklayer. She left for the west, certain she would find work there.

Motivation: She wants nothing more than to rejoin the army; and she loathes her own lifestyle

Personality: A skeptical and narcissistic woman, Cecily's first love is herself. Her second love is also herself. She is a ruthless business woman, a trait she acquired from her father.

History: Cecily was born with her father's beautiful face. In her formative years she discovered how persuasive she was. She began using that to her advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. She has been a successful dealer in antiques buying low and selling high.

Motivation: Nothing but the best is good enough for her.

Description: 5'3" and muscular, this eastern man does not wear sleeves and tends to eschew shirts when he can avoid it. His head has been shaved. His eyes are green and he is always smoking a pipe.

Personality: He is happy with his job as a Miller. He turns his eye from what people do, preferring to live and let live. He does suffer from mild PTSD, and the sight of illithids may trigger it at times.

History: His history is one of pain. He was disowned by both parents and raised among the slaves his parents kept. He sought a place where he would be rewarded solely on the merits of his skills. This search led him directly into Miller work with an outfit from a few towns over. Miller work suited him well, and with each successful project, he earned more gold and more respect from his peers. He now owns his own business.

Motivation: He wants revenge against illithids; and his name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and he desires to right it
