History: Aldous was born into a poor family. Growing up, he dreamt of becoming a Paladin, to bring honor to his family’s name. When he came of age, he applied for a position with his town's local guard, looking to work his way up via merit and eventually become a Paladin in service of a powerful lord somewhere. He was an adventurer many years ago and he formed a blood bond with his Human companion (his 'brother'). He then took over the family business and is one of the better Merchant for hire.

Personality: She is shy and timid. She has not had much interaction with people and is skittish around them. She is a big fan of imagination and believes people should spend more time reading and writing.

History: Sybil lived on a farm with her mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. She dropped out of school to support her sick mother, and resented it. She has since lost track of the people in her past.

Motivation: To share knowledge with the world; and find a way to reverse the transformation of her sister

Personality: He considers himself a man of culture and sophistication. He likes a good challenge to his wits. He loves his children and doesn't want them to worry about him. He loves to share his music with anyone who is interested.

History: A child with a great deal of music talent his parents made sure he got the chance to thrive. He moved from fad to fad and when he turned 15 he discovered music. Recently a tribe of dire rats attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Ralf fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. When he's not drinking or sleeping the drinks off, he's doing singing.

History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, William was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. He helped his mother out around the business and became quite the natural. He ran away from his former home and has been making his living as a Junk Dealer for the past few years.
