History: Sold as a small child to a brothel owner, Roger was an assistant, and all too frequently test subject. He eventually earned his freedom when his former master disappeared. When their plan failed the mentor lashed out against both of them and fled. He tends to his Bowyer job now, and dutifully fulfills any obligations he has.

Personality: He is irascible and easily irritated. He is cautious and jumpy. He reacts to every sound and lacks any concept of subtlety.

History: He was born a particularly ugly child, much to the horror of his parents. His childhood dream was to be a Weaver, but he was a colossal failure. After a long history of fighting, Aldous and his spouse have recently divorced.

Motivation: Balancing his hectic life and new Detective responsibilities is difficult; and he is unsatisfied with his job

Personality: He likes to be helpful to his clients. He likes to prescribe proper advice to his clients. On top of that he is swayed by a pretty face, and while loyalty to his employer will always come first he doesn't like to hit women.

History: Raised by wardens he was only a novice when illithids swooped upon their monastery and killed most of the order. He went to a religious school and was inspired by the priests there in charitable deeds. He became a plane-shifter, and is stopping over on this plane for a brief visit.

Motivation: To settle down with his crush; and many illithids want him driven away

Personality: Ella hangs on like a leech to those who appreciate her. It was this clingy personality that held back her singing career. She dislikes loud distracting noises, but is overall hospitable. Her biggest love is that of knowledge and as such will purchase any books or pay to listen to tales that travelers might have.

History: Born in the east to a Sailor, Ella learned a great deal about her father's area of expertise. She helped her father out around the business and became quite the natural. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: She is unsatisfied with her job; and to fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever
