Personality: He takes his job very seriously, in part because he fears he cannot get a new one. The war was a terrible time for him, and Shane does not often speak of it. When he does, he does so with a strained expression and tears in his eyes.

History: He served in the navy to pay for his family's outstanding loans. He graduated from the Naval Academy and went to see the world at the rank of Ensign. He advanced relatively quickly due to his good work ethic, understanding of the chain of command, and natural leadership ability. He has gone from town to town till he finds a spot where he can set up a sustainable business.

Description: This man stands a little under 5'9" and is a bit bulky. He is very muscular particularly in the legs. He sports green clothing, slightly heavier than average wear. His blonde hair is kept up in a ponytail inside a feathered hat. His fair skin shows little sign of his aristocratic breeding.

Personality: Aggressive, abrasive, and angry, Arnold embodies much of what other species detest in the Humans. Energy wise he seems alert and responsive.

History: He was born on a small isolated farm. Arnold liked to wander the woods near his home when he was young, something he still likes to do at least once a week. He never liked modest clothing or shoes, so he would wander the woods barefoot and lightly dressed, and he developed a good sense of balance and learned how to climb and swim well. He is untrained/undisciplined, which makes him dangerous.

Personality: She seems absolutely devoid of it. She stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. She has a small toy that she constantly fidgets with.

History: She was born in the east. Yvonne was born on a far eastern island where she grew up under the tutelage of her father, an expert Mason. She moves from town to town, unable to find a place to settle.

Motivation: She seems to be bored by most things; and she is currently in port desperately looking for someone to get her out

History: She was born blind and as such lacked many opportunities for work. Her arcane abilities were realized during a raid on her village. She was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

Motivation: She feels the way she acts is they only way to get by in the world; and to protect her home
