He prefers to carry a bow, but if one is not available he will default to his lance. He is tall, broad shouldered and powerfully built. His auburn hair is lengthy and is close to two feet long. He wears round tiny glasses practically rammed into his face.

Personality: He seems absolutely devoid of it. He stares off into space and will respond with overly literal and minimalist answers to questions. He does not trust anyone and sleeps with one eye open.

History: Roland was born with his father's beautiful face. From his teen years he was always beautiful and desirable, so people have always doted on him. Recently a tribe of orcs attacked the village and all able bodies who could hold a blade were quickly armed and sent to the walls. Roland fought at the side of some of the regions greatest heroes but was never overshadowed.

Motivation: To fight the greatest warriors and to fight in the greatest battles ever.

Personality: Adelaide is a sociable creature first and foremost. She loves to listen to people at length before talking their ear off. She can carry on conversation for hours and will do so. She is fiercely devoted to her father, and views her father's ex-spouse as an evil person for separating her from her legal half-sister.

History: She was born to loving parents in a slum to the north. She was one of the best in her class, and was picked up by her current employer. She quickly showed her capability and was soon promoted to a head role. She struck the Mayor job and began her own company from there.

Personality: He loves justice and goodness and right action. Anyone who does not fulfill this criteria perfectly will no doubt get a lecture from him. He is the most sanctimonious self-righteous Human in existence. He has zero loyalty and will suck up to whomever is within range, in the hopes of being moved to a better position.

History: He was born the only child of a wealthy merchant. In his formative years he discovered how persuasive he was. He began using that to his advantage selling useless wares at inflated prices. He was betrayed by a partner and left for dead, teaching him a humbling lesson in trusting others.

Motivation: To unite with his brother; and his spouse's relatives view him with great suspicion

History: She was raised in a white middle class family as the only child. While she appears to be a normal Human, she's... not quite right. Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She has gone from town to town working and never settling down anywhere, but has fallen for a local Guard. She hasn't told them the truth, but wants to settle down with them.
