History: She was born into a rich family. In her 18th year, her parents were killed by a illithids raid, leaving Avice alone in the world. After a stint in an orphanage, she was adopted. She knows her nephew is from a royal line that had remained secret for centuries, but promised not to tell anyone. So far, no-one knows but her.
