History: Trained by his father for as long as he can remember he had it drilled in his head that it was his duty to serve his country. When Gerard reached his early adolescence his Human father passed away. Feeling disconnected from the small nearby village afterwards, he decided to travel. His rounds led him into the Army with a few individuals who would become his life-long companions. He was recently attacked on the road and savagely beaten by bandits.

History: Her parents moved while she was still in utero so she is the first generation to be born here. While studying, she fell in love. They married and had a son. She remains aloof and afraid to be herself due to all the ideals others have placed upon her.

Personality: She cares much about the opinion of others, both in good and in bad: when keeping in line with her opinion, she thinks highly of the other person, but when opinions clash, she can get violently argumentative. History: Mary hails from a village terrorized by gnolls. Since her father passed away years ago, her mother had doted on her, and she came to think her herself as special and better than other people in town.
