History: Aldous lived on a farm with his mother, near the main road leading to a nearby town. There was a wharf not far from home where he often wandered off to fish. Due to his spouse's obsession with being a Cartwright they were divorced and he won custody of their son. He worked as a Bookbinder, and he later adopted a second son.

History: Margery was born to in a poor docking district. She spent her early days working in the same smith shop her mother was employed at, doing general labor. In her youth she was part of a gang. She got caught, but did not rat out her comrades and served her time in prison. She used her abilities to trick people and travel the world for free.
