Days after completing her studies, news broke out that her hometown was attacked by illithids. Hugolina was horrified and prayed that her mother was alright. However, she heard that her mother had died fighting off the illithids.

Motivation: Many illithids want her driven away; and her name or reputation has been wronged in the past by illithids, and she desires to right it

History: His arcane talent manifested at a young age. Aiming to upstage a rival house, his parents had him trained. When he came of age, he joined a caravan that would eventually take him to the capital. He would practice along the way and, when he arrived, be apprenticed to a Slave Trader. He has achieved small success as a Slave Trader.

Motivation: He feels threatened by others; and sabotage a competitor

She tries to control her temper but she can't always stop herself from what she feels what must be done. She is often prim and proper but will on occasion tell either really disgusting or offensive jokes, which seem out of character.

History: Adelaide lived on a farm with her father, near the main road leading to a nearby town. Through the years after Adelaide was born, her father became increasingly distant from her family, instead choosing to pursue power in the west. Adelaide's father didn't care for her much, and the feeling was mutual. She has set out to sabotage the competition.

Motivation: Wants to raise her children well; and to unite with her sister

History: She was born with several neurological imbalances, which makes sleep difficult for her. It may also be what makes her so good at details. She was an athlete and attended two major summer competitions. She never won. She hasn't been sleeping well lately.
