Perhaps she's slightly insane, or otherwise so mentally alien to the rest of the world that she plain doesn't fit in. She was granted druidic powers by her dying brother.

History: He got into the Doctor business at a young age. While studying, he fell in love. They married and had a daughter. He has worked as a Doctor like his mother before him.
